Akadama

Triple line Akadama is the highest quality Akadama produced in Japan.  Akadama is used as the standard soil in bonsai and is highly regarded for its nutrient holding capacity and scalability.  Akadama can be utilized either by itself when potting deciduous trees, or mixed with other soil types for other species.  Most notably the 1:1:1 Akadama, Kiryu, Hyuga mix used for conifers.
